Matemateca participates in the II Week of the Mathematics Teacher at UNICAMP (University of Campinas), an event organized by undergraduate students in Mathematics at UNICAMP, from August 7 to 10, 2018, from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Deborah Raphael at ICM2018

The Profesor Deborah Raphael, Deputy Director of Matemateca, participated in the roundtable "Math museums: a worldwide explosion", as part of Section 18 - Mathematics Education and Popularization of the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM), on 04.08.2018. The 1h30 round table was moderated by Cindy Lawrence (MoMath) and also had the participation of Albrecht Beutelspacher (Mathematikum, in Giessen), Sylvie Benzoni (Institut Henri Poincaré) and Sujatha Ramdorai (University of British Columbia, Canada).

Matemateca at Virada Malba Tahan 2018

As usual, Matemateca took part in the exhibition activities of Virada Malba Tahan, organized by CAEM - Center for the Improvement of Mathematics Teaching, which took place on May 4th and 5th, at IME-USP.

Matemateca at SFPMRS

Matemateca's exhibition at the II Symposium on Mathematics Teacher Training in the Southeast Region, an event held in the Poli-USP (University of São Paulo's Polytechnic School) Biennium (between the auditoriums), on November 30, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
